Re: BTRC Special Election Day Get Out The Vote Operations

All:

Let me begin by thanking you for your effort and commitment to our party. As you are aware, I have made every effort to communicate early and clearly with volunteers our expectations as we approach this Special Election Day and our Get Out The Vote operations.

On Tuesday, January 17,  you have been assigned to serve as the ground game team for Brookhaven Town in our effort to elect Kevin LaValle as the next Brookhaven Town Clerk.

Below you will find a brief and general outline of Tuesday’s GOTV operations. Please begin the process of setting your schedules to accommodate this critical schedule. 

The schedule is as follows:

6:00AM:  Labor Groups (literature drop)

12:00PM: Appointed Officials, Volunteers, and Committee Members 3080 Route 112, Suite D, Medford, NY 11763

  • Team Leaders pick up and disperse packets to teams

12:30PM:  Teams depart to the field (target EDs)

  • Knock and drag

1:00PM-5:00PM:  Knock & Drag & Phones

5:00PM: Teams return to assigned base for dinner

You, the Warriors of the Brookhaven GOP MUST be prepared to spend the ENTIRE DAY on the phones at Headquarters or your assigned GOTV satellite offices right through 9 PM on Election Day.  EVERYONE REPORTS to Brookhaven GOP Headquarters on Tuesday at 12:00PM. The Brookhaven GOP will send volunteers like yourself out multiple times throughout the day. We will also provide you with grab-and-go lunch as well as dinner.
